I run on 800mhz but also live in NY and i have not seen lag since i got road runner

ah, it's probably because you live in NY that you don't get lag, as I run on 800 MHZ and still get lag, but Raven runs on 800 MHZ, lives in NY, and doesn't get lag

I have Roadrunner also, and I live in Northern NY - let's just say I'm close enough to the border to hear the bones crunching on the other side - and I run on a 600 mhz most of the time. I don't lag much, but there are some days when it really hits me hard.

Well, graal utilizes other things like ram how much of that do you have?

It was basically just wishful thinking. If someone were to offer to install that kind of a setup for me, I would probably fall to the floor, unconscious. lol

Also, one last comment in this thread before I leave it: There is no set reasons why some broadband users "lag" on Graal. Clock speed is NOT everything as I said in another Broadband + Graal thread. I have a 550mhz, 256MB of PC133 RAM and a GeForce 2 MX200. I rarely, if ever lag, and that's usually in the marketplace, which I rarely, if ever, go to. Broadband users do not lag 56k users. Nor vice versa. Broadband users lag due to poor connections to the server, packet loss, and poor broadband lines altogether. 56k users lag due to the extremely low overhead that a 56k line is able to provide. The server can decode broadband users' information easily. Same with DSL. Please, don't be stupid...sigh...

Maybe you could take it to Ripley's.
