That's a good point. I always thought of the graphics forum as a place for graal graphics and stuff made with computers. I guess it would be more appropriate if they were collected there.

Of course, noy my original artwork is in my signature! Say hello to cool signature!

I'll attach it.

:)
Unipordum is supposed to be, however, smaller than Bomriket..
I'm not sure if that is depicted by distance, however, it would seem as if they are supposed to be the identical scale (similarity).

Well, Gonmon, Shadrock already showed me the colored version of that picture. Well, partially colored, anyway.

um.... have fun drawing TrueHeaT.

You'll be in there too, buddy boy... Just because you're cool to draw... Perhaps I'll put Antago in there as well.... Looking like the thief he's allways wanted me to depict him as. Any ways, this is gonna be cool.

Oh yeah, I guess our new graphics guy is coloring it allready :) I didn't knwo

FatherDante 10-27-2001 10:35 AM

Why, thanks Vermain! I definitely hold your opinion highly!

I like the way you did the hands, D.... Nice and acurate... Any ways, THT in that picture reminds me of Ruroni Kenshin for some reason... lol

I mean both suns are shining on the planet creating night time on both sides

Well when I designed the solar system and the concept of time, I originally was going to make it more physically and mathematically correct.. however, since Stefan was the one who actually was scripting it, he wanted to stick to his 24 hour thing.

So, when I designed the multiple star system, the only way to change the times (since Bomriket is larger than Unipordum) was to just add two more real days onto the Bomriket years (they have 17 real days.. or 17 months and 408 graal days).

I would have made it extremely accurate to as if it were real (well, excluding the fact that nothing could live in this intense heat.. and a planet would never actually somehow change its gravitational pull after coming between two stars.. it would normally be held by the larger star no matter what.. unless for some odd reason it became far away from it and closer to the small star.. in which case the alternation would be randomness).

Anyways.. day and night is definately possible.
There was supposed to be a specific Bomunian period in which the years approached the silvester and departed it.. the Bomunian period would have orange days and nights (which means that every Bomunian day is orange with light since it is almost directly between both stars).
When it is completely between the stars, it is the silvester and the day is extremely hot and yellow.. this is when the gravitational path changes to the "other" star.

Dark nights do not come until the planet is away from the Bomunian coordinate in the gravitational-eight-shaped path.

I think the Bomriket years also have red nights.. since the Bomriket star is also red.

I always invisioned trueheat as having somewhat of a scruffy beard, a hobo hat, a vest with a long sleeve shirt underneath and he is carrying a guitar/violin in his hand, and there is a dagger concealed somewhere on the instrument.

no man, thats me, but with an afro

In the signature Dante's left hand is messed up. In the hard original it looked good but due to a penning complication the scan came out weird. I tried to fix it with a graphics editor and that was the best result I could get.

By the way Gonmon, I really love the attention to detail of the image in your signature. The shadow's in the traditional style are quite nice and high above my poor software-less self's abilities.

Well I think Bomriket is about 30-40 pixels smaller then Unipordum. Saying they are about 30-40million miles apart then the size would be about right, if 1 pixel=1million miles in space. I had no idea the suns had names. What else don't I know?

RawPower 10-27-2001 02:54 PM

Haha Gonmon draw me!

psihunter 10-27-2001 02:55 PM

Oh my,

Time to create a space exploration Lab on Graal2001

If one of Graal's Suns is red, then that would make it a red giant >=)

Someone should make a scale model of the Graalian Solar System

Link77 10-27-2001 08:48 PM

?

it looks like a graphic from worms world party!

:)

heheh

Here is the model of it WITHOUT the bomunian and silvester period depicted.

I'd like this as my signature. Can anybody serve it?

Yeah, it's great, I did post that I liked it in an earlier thread after you added it to your sig, but the thread was deleted, I don't know if you saw me say it >_< I wish I had a scanner :D
