Geo was "away" put NF in charge. He did everything, and then he decided to come back and take everything over. Thats when everything started to fall a part. Anyhow.

It's all in the past. Things will hopefully shape up. But I just dislike people who praise Geo, when he hardly did a thing for the server. It was the people who worked for him, and he just took credit cuz it was his.

Then he wanted NP back. Yet now he's making another server lol. Teir'Dal failed, and well this one, I dunno.....I won't play it lol (maybe once or twice)

I do not think many of you are quite aware of how hard it is to manage a playerworld and the staff...you would be quite suprised, espically if you factor in real-life responsibilities that always have to take top priority. People lie and put on masks when around the ones in charge...its harder for those in power to see the truth usually, and they cannot just believe anyone who says "someone is bad".

Agreed the updates are far too slow, but another thing is the fact that its truly very challenging to find good staff, espically leaders. Can any of you handle the job? If so, try out and see what you can do. If not, then perhaps you should review your opinions and statements...Graal has far too many critics anyway. Basically it comes down to this, stop complaining and at least try to find ways to help. Criticism can be used to a great advantage, but not empty critcism from over-zealous people without any solid grasp on the subject.

Yeah, N-Pulse has problems, always has really. But the biggest problem is the lack of willingness from people with skills and the maturity to assist....also the constant "finger-pointing" is simply wretched, its like the bubonic plague around here.

Many mistakes have been made by staff, including me...but those should be learned from, hopefully Moon God and Moonie have learned as much as I did in my experiance. Servers are made up of people, and people learn and grow over time. If those people work TOGETHER instead of against each other, then perhaps something would actually be accomplished. Most are too selfish to try that though...only interested in their own personal gain. By the way, I'm speaking in generalities in that.

And do some of you really believe adults should not be allowed to play Graal or something? Thats ridiculous...not to mention discriminative. They have just as much a right to enjoy a game as you do, as long as they can balance it out with their responsibilities, and it seems MG and Moonie have managed that rather well.

On a final note, Geo had a lot of personal problems going on, I hope you all understand that and try not hold it against him. He did come back and take over, but wanted to keep me closely involved in what happened. Unfortunately, he skipped ahead of me a bit on some decisions...but thats another story so yeah. Anyway, good to see a few of you still remember me. Hope maybe I've helped a bit...

yeah, running a PW is hard in multiple ways, emotional, stressful, etc. you don't know how hard it is until your PW becomes popular like npulse. you get so many retards and posers on your PW, half the time you just want to dropkick those who PM you right in the head, but, it's a job and you gotta be nice and stuff, it tears you apart inside and can screw you up.

Running a PW is very hard, especially if you have 4 kids to raise, that come first no exceptions....Moon god and I are trying very hard, it is soooo hard to find good staff, Archaon was an awsome LAT, and he left to make his own server which will probably be awsome. We are not corrupt people, we love N-Pulse, and we are trying very hard to keep it alive, we have several things being made right now, like heart quests and a level3 sword quest, but it takes time to make good quests, especially since none of our LAT's seem to be able to make them, except Blue Wizard, Blue Knight is busy working on the classes, and the weapons that go with them, it has been really hard for us, but we have learned alot despite all the trashing we have gotten, When Geo handed the server to us, we had no clue of what to do, but we are learning. It is true that when Geo owned Npulse, that NightFall did all the work. NightFall worked so hard for Npulse along with others, Geo had alot of problems that he had to take care of, so I cant really blame his lack of being on, on him...personal lives take a front seat, thats the way it should be.

Playerworlds Aren't popular, people just see them first and the name catches their eyes. When I first started I played on Paradox, the description sounded cool, went on, a lot of it sucked but I was hooked.

Moon Goddess, you and Moon God has been running the server good except for some flaws here and there wich tends to draw all the attention, everyone sees the mistakes, noone sees the good things that happen.

I remember when I first played N-Pulse, my friend Zerxus showed me the game and I got stuck in it. I loved the game. Since I only had a modem back then and I wasn't allowed to be online a lot I started making levels and that was rather successful.

About a week after I got DSL I asked Moon Goddess, who had just become LAT Chief after Aloe was fired (I think) if she could check my levels and see if I could become a LAT. She liked my levels and I got hired so I started making levels.

Then the period came when N-Pulse had a lot of problems. First the current LAT Captain YinLan half-quitted/was half-fired from his job when Geovanie banned guilds (ROAR@!) on the server. Not long after I got the LAT Captain job and it was then I realized being someone important on a server wasn't easy. Putting the LATs to work with outside levels on New N-Pulse took time.

After a while I became LAT Chief. I hired Zerxus, the guy who brought me to Graal as a LAT after I taught him some about making levels, and he is really good now. After a while I made a plan to bring back old N-Pulse with Zerxus. Most of it was made but I had been missing just to simple job to make levels. So I decided to quit and start working on my on server, I would have no responibility until it ws online. I love making levels so great progress is coming.

I am again working with Zerxus on it, who quit N-Pulsre as well to work with me. With me is Shadow Knight as a scripter and my sister called Black Angel as a level maker that I taught the art of tileing.

Anyway, what I wanna say is that being high staff seems easy until you actually try it. The moment I was getting more responsibility on the server I had more to do. Take care of the LATs, get them to work and on top of that I had to listen to lots of stupid complaints every day. (Well not all of them was stupid) And almost noone said something good ever.

Well if it was that simple that would be nice. But I am like this I don't have to like someone on my Staff as long as they contribute to all on the "Team" and do what is required to do to keep their postion.For after all it is a Team effort from all on Staff to make it work. Problem is finding those few who are willing to do just that, and not do it for personal gain or the popularity of the job.Each has his own duty to perform and that is what they are trained in and if all do each of theirs part then it runs well.If a FAQ trys to act as a GP and are not trained in that then problems arise,This is why I insist that EACH do his OWN part for STaff and work as a TEAM , each part of the TEAM is as important as the other.And all must depend on each other to accomplish this task.If this is done hackers would be caught quicker , players would be helped quicker and so on.But then reality sets in and most of the time it is only a few who are on and overworked and overwhelmed by all that is going on and yet they strive to do whatever they can to get the game back on track for the players to enjoy.So do not be too quick to judge them ,I am not saying by any means that there are some who do not do their job at all that is why I set up the complaints page on the site and a email [email protected] so all can recieve an answer to their concerns in a timely fashion for I answer all who send in a complaint as well as Moonie is copied on all complaints too and often answers them too.We try even though it may seem we are doing nothing but if you look; how many servers have a place setup to recieve complaints and really answer them?

N-pulse is fun. Yeah. Keep it.

even though i got limited skills on everything, by hearing this npulse revolution, i'll be supporting you guys. Npulse is my home and nothng can change that. when you are up and running i'll be back to add to my 500+ hours online time :)

Well...I talked to Blue Wizard and Blue Knight yesterday. The new version (Wich I love) pissed of Blue Knight. A lot. I don't know what will happen but it seems like he is on his own now. :(

N-Pulse was good when i originally started (with classes... damn healers to hell...anyway) it was much more a newbies place to be than a pkers, classic makes people famous but on little servers like npulse (was big a long time ago) u made friends, i remember thinking it was great, but when i think about it now i know that the levels sucked, the npcs were poor etc. i stayed there for the people, most good servers aren't pk based (thus classic sucks), and npulse has become pk based, it wasn't only moon god and moonie it was mainly thanks to the lack of organisation when geo had personal problems, i became a lat after faq (mystichaste was teh name =P) then i about a month later quit because i was so frustrated about not being able to do anything.

Hell i have to take so many LAT applicants and asign levels to all the LATS and constantly send updated level packs, its not that hard =P

It is if you are sharing your computer with 5 other persons -_-

As it stands we cannot even upload new quests which are done ,why? because we cannot change the server options because of FTP we have alot of changes to put up but as FTP is we are at a stand still. Crap we cannot even fire and hire new GPs for we cannot set accounts , won't take because of the FTP , at the moment we can do NOTHING to the server at all but sit back and watch it all go to hell till Stefan does something with the damn FTP.And Classes are comming back to Npulse, as well as a new Story line, but as stated before all is at a stand still. :grrr: :grrr: :grrr:

do the world a favor and redo NPulse entirely, starting with a blank levelgen file

N-Pulse is still good.

Known problems

1) FTP being down

2) Every graal problem is always and seemingly worse on N-Pulse than any other server. Geee figure that one out

3) Constant sheep like players (people following leads, where they just go along with whatever is said just to be noticed)

4) Lack of quality staff. Since the majority of the people quit, or has moved on there has been nothing left. Option is to clearly wipe out sum staff. Basically 85% of the staff should be replaced. Starting with the ones who are in power to the ones who abuse the power.

5) Everyone who loved it, feels like it's just being ruined. Heck it's just a feeling. The past was sweet, everyone loved NP. Why? the quests were not forever long. They didn't take hours to figure it out. The lack of originality in the quests are boring. Ever heard the phrase "less is more?" It should be on NP.

Thats why it was successful. Now a days people gain multiple accounts. How many times do you wanna do all the quests and then just be pissed off and hate the server? :P I'm not saying make them easier, just simplified with different types of quests. Carrying sumptin around is not my ideal quest.

6) Image of the staff. Heck everyone has been guilty. Yes I have, but like everyone in this world. You learn from your mistakes. I still to this day thank NightFall for demoted me when he did. Opened up my eyes to a lot of things, and all those days of acting a certain way ended.

This ties back to the staff decrease. Quality not quantity. The GP's should be fired.

People loyal, like K@ne (even tho we all know RVD is the Whole Damn Show!) etc. I could name a lengthy list of people. Fair tryouts are well deserved. But the fact remains is the people who've played this server through all the b.s should get chances to be staff. Thats what I did, then tryouts ruined that.

See where "tryouts" got NP? back to square one. Anyhow. If anyone wants to add, or subtract, please just add it in. Maybe we can fix this place sooner than later. If not, moments of silence will be held.

I know we have the problems with staff, but we cant hire any right now because of ftp....kane has mentioned he wants to come back which I am thinking about, maybe even zell, I think we should trash the tryouts also because they havent helped, but again, we can do nothing without ftp being functional =(

Well if you had been on the Npulse site I even devoted a page to the remake of Npulse for that is EXACLY what we wanted to do was completely redo Npulse keep only the good levels and get rid of the rest,bring back what was popular to the players (with changes if they had lame quest on them)This has been in the works for months , problem is not all was going according to plan and with the Lat Chief quitting it just made matters worse,it is still progressing but nothing can be done with the FTP like it is . We tried to put a new quest up but had to take it back down when we realized we could not change the server options.So because of this, Npulse is at a stand still and that is not our fault for we do not control FTP.And yes I have sent many messages to Stefan on this but no reply or action on his part.
