People were laughing about everything yesterday and it made me really angry. Even if you are not from the USA, just think of all those who got killed and injured. It isn't a laughing matter, I send my deepest condolances out to those killed in the terrorist act.

If there is some kid at school, a strong kid, weighs 250 pounds, goes to the gym everyday...and then there was another kid, skinny, small, wieghs 120 pounds, sits on computer all day, out of shape....and the small kid starts talking garbage to the big kid, and the small kid harrasses the big kida girlfriend...well guess what, the big kid will go crush the small kid. So then what if the small kid comes back later on, brings a knife to school, and cuts the big kid up? Well guess what, the big kid, when he recovers or even before, will go after the little, and will have friends go after the little....and the little kid will be brought to justice for evil actions.

Thats what is going on now, only difference is, our military wasn't effected much. We will retaliate, and we will bring who did this to us to justice.

I can defend my mother in other ways than violence.

Actually I do not like nukes. The whole aspect scares me...see what happened scares me. If a nuke hit it would do 100x more damage, and could cause a nuclear winter. A nuclear war would destroy the world.

Methods I have suggested? I haven't suggested any methods. I have said that the people who did this must be punished...is that a method? No.

Am I the only one that wants the arguing to stop?

I had to moderate the channel and devoice/deop two people in #Graal on irc.mystical.net because they just would not quit arguing. Lycia had problems with this for some reason.. but I say they should have taken it to msgs. I mean, it was only those two arguing.

Speaking of #Graal, I'd better go op it now. There's probably mad flaming going on in there.

By the way, the U.S. is not the most right country in the world, but civilians shouldn't have to die because of a guy's gripe.

As for the U.S. never intervening in any wars unless they or their allies were attacked, I think we did do that once, and that's why we had the Vietnam War or whatever... we lost a lot of people.

Anyway, stop arguing.

How could you disagree in the fact that Pacifism is another word for coward. They both do nothing in return when getting hit. They both don't defend things which need to be defended.

Cowards do one thing different...they run. From what I here, and take of a Pacifist, is they will take the hits, and they will not run. Basicly if they did run, they would become cowards....but yes, it does take courage to take hits...in some cases alot more then fighting back. But the whole concept of letting another wrong you, letting them walk over you...it just doesn't work.

If you brought religion into it, its like sitting and asking our heavenly father to do all our work....you need to do some of the work yourself.

Fighting back is the first thing you would think of. But it often gets nothing solved,or makes things last longer than they really need to.
Although I think in a situation like this, words or talking will not solve it. But it should atleast be tried.
