I use sniper for running people, if they run with their jetpack and walk on the ground I sniper them.

Yah,

But when you sparring with someone on ircia and he got 29 hp and fly away.
Then I use sniper and kill him.

Sniper is VERY expensive, so it should have some qauleties(dunno how to spell)
And when someone shoots with a sniper, then on the radar his Green icon pops up,
So you can detect them.

i always end up getting sniped while in the middle of a fight with someone. its very irritating.

I'm not sure about the specs on Sniper all I know is damage, but I think that after every shot, they should be made to reload, and when they have to reload, it switches back to normal view, and they stand up, the reload should be a bit longer then normal weapons, and then after reloading they go back to sniper vision with their aim reset. I think that would be a bit more fair, I mean, especially since, when I do play, the snipers I see, are right outside the base, hiding and shooting people spawning, that doesn't take skill at all, and is impossible to counter, if you don't have a jet pack to try and fly away, and then come back to kill them.

As is if you look at a soldier use an actual sniper rifle they can still sight and do the quick reload. Maybe there should be like 2 seconds where you have no firing action or something.

yeah good idea, that would balance it a lot more.

I personally have never been sniped. I dont know if that just means im god or if you guys just suck but i think one way to reduce the lamage, as Mini said would be to make the person show up on the radar, and as jkool said reduce the damage to 40? 40 damage is still a lot lot lot on zone :D

After every shot the sniper takes the person does become visible on the radar, so its kinda like standing up, though maybe a little longer reload time might be helpful :D

Sniper is fine, it would be very lame if there wasn't all that black stuff around, and since zone lags a lot , even if you don't lag yourself it's really hard to target someone or find someone, so really, if you can kill someone with it, then you're worthy to kill with it.

If you find it's a very lame weapon, guess what Stefan would say: JUST BUY IT YOURSELF !

Apparently with the sniper rifle theres a button which locates the closest enemy so finding someone isn't exceptionally hard

Right clicking someone brings you to the closest person. Also for more accuracy you can scroll in and there is a tighter firing range.

A personal suggestion is not to shoot the person, just to shoot their shadow. I find it is easier to kill by shooting shadows.
