looks good man, now work on your detailing and style. :)

What are you talking about Crono? The styling looks fine to me. Could you make an edit of that level and show us what correct styling is.

I always here you criticizing about styling. Can you explain what is wrong with the detail and styling on that?

I have high standards. :X I guess it's hard to please me, but it's for the better of the community.

Hard to explain, look at the screenshot.

I re-did moonite's grass style/detailing, thats how I like to see it.

So you can't explain whats wrong with it? Because to me by looking at the 2 pictures it looks like you added about 1 tile to his detail.Does that make the whole level better for you?

Can you fix that mother effing repetative dirt X_X
Add corner top images to for the corners of the roofs dont have a green edge to them.
Set some use to poletop images as well since you could use those as well.
You dont have to use straight tiles bro and when it comes to detailing that involves such things as the grass blades, the dirt, the bushes, the swamp tiles, flowers, rocks, stumps. You dont have to just scatter them off all the place, but instead scatter groups of them all over the place.

Hope that makes sense, hope I didn't come off to mean. Been a long day.

He made the grass a lot fuller. Contorted, small grass usually doesn't look as good and does not allow as much detailing.

Nothing really to add that hasn't been said for crit, I like what you're doing with it, it's nice to see new things done with tiles rather than the same old thing over and over. Detail the dirt, think about adding a custom tileset to it to fix any errors and neaten it up - or if not the first option atleast put some images to replace some of the tiles on the finished version - will make a big difference aesthetically.

Also the joins, others might prefer the second, but I think the first looks better :
Screenshot 1 (Crono's Level) : Error is less noticable by using the other horizontal grass tile.

Screenshot 2 (Original Level) : The error difference between the tiles is more noticable.

Pay attention to the style of the paths and details themselves. If you can't see it then you're not good at looking at levels.

Put the two screenshots on two different windows and keep switching. You'll see it.
