I'm sharing a cable connection with my roomates using wireless internet... I'm not exactly sure how stable IP ranges are for wireless though, so I dunno.

If you were to ever read the main page (i.e. http://www.graalonline.com), you would see that are references to Bomy Moon as a playable server. Even if there are forum posts regarding Bomy Moon's current progress, new forum users may not know how to find it.

Chill the hell out. You've been really agro lately towards people. If someone asks an honest question: don't be a bastard.

You'll at least have a finite range of Class As, unless your wireless internet owns and randomly uses every...single...IP...
(Oh, sorry, thought about how LANs assign dynamic IPs, but that's not the same as a real Internets IP, just a sort of local nickname...Graal would consider you to have the same IP as the gateway)
Well, you know the drill: every time you log on, check your IP verses the Known Ranges, etc. etc. It'd be nice if ISPs had any idea what "IP Range" meant when you ask them, but we can't have everything...

Perhaps you could ask what network addresses they use.

I really liked Graal2001, and it was perfect apart from people like Birdbird_0 adding weird stuff, and some other fellow who I don't quite remember at this point. But why does it have to be changed? It was great. Maybe you guys should just make it a Classic playerworld, and a ton of poeple would play it. Seriously. I think it just got overturned by GK and both of them being on Gold... why play 2001 when you could play GK? Yeah... it should be on Classic methinks. :)

birdbird did more for 2k1 then you'd ever know

he had intercourse with it while nobody was looking

Deadly_Killer 05-17-2007 09:01 PM

yes, birdbird did a lot more.

He helped destroy it!

I think g2k1 was the best server graal ever had. Every server out there right now is pretty gimmicky.

G2k1 was graal. It WAS graal, it kept the basic graal engine and didnt attempt to rework it or anything, it was the way things were supposed to be.

First of all I'd like to say...mido :D!

Second G2k1 was pretty good, I didn't play it much back then but it felt much better than GK.

I'm just biased against it. It was always Antago's Big Attempt To Shut Down Classic For Being Dumb And Not-His to me. With the freaking Bomys.

Use your pc idea as an ip range. That works. I think you have to insert something like "pc: 12345".

oinknessx 05-18-2007 08:32 PM

Bomy Moon or whatnot should be classic... Birdbird did some good but he also did more bad or self-centered developing on there. There could have been incredible loads of development done to add to the server if there had been even a single person with the interest or capabilities to get anything done.

Graal2001 was really a playerworld about making money and buying stuff, and doing a few quests... For that matter, it should go back to the Classic tab. It would be horrible to see it converted into a GK Style thing with GK bodies or have any of the old things removed. :( Bomies are definitely necessary, as are each kingdom, pearl diving, bread baking, mining, crafting, and even that little mine cart that rides overtop of the trees. :D
