Look there not losing out on money, because if you need to share an acc with a friend, then the friend would not have ever updated...so if the person would never upgrade in the first place...and like i said, ITS OUR MONEY WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO USE IT HOW WE WANT

that's like saying a skateboard companiny won't let you, let your friend skate it for awhile...

Not to mention, if something were to happen, the account holder could say "omg, that wasn't me, it was so and so who used my account!"
Yea, I know about the computer ID thing.
What about if the person is a friend that was at your house, on your computer? What if it's a family member in your house, on your computer?
Then people would expect to be unbanned or whatever because it was someone else using their account, but no proof.

I think it would open up a whole area of problems that does NOT need to be opened.

You realize they can just log on your graal account if they are on your pc anyways without you knowing?

Not if the password of your account isn't saved on the client.

No it's not. When you let someone share your account, the typical scenario is person A uses it on one server and person B uses it on another. This means that two people are getting the benefits out of it, despite only one person paying for it.

Your metaphor is incorrect because only one of you can use the skateboard at a time, unlike Graal servers where multiple players can use the same account at the same time.

SayianOozaru: You're correct, it's your money, use it how you wish.

Though, remember, this is a business, a game. We have certain rules that run this game and account sharing is against the rules. Once you paid for your account, you're agreeing to the Rules of Conduct and User Agreement, so therefore, you pay for your account, meaning you agree to both those documents, therefore you follow the rules. What's the problem?

Why aren't we allowed to share accounts?

We spent our money on buying the account, so why can't we do what we want with the account?

If accounts were free i could understand this rule, because then everyone would have one, and not need to share one.

But what if i wanted to let my brothers (i have 3 living in Maryland) play on here since Graal has gotten boring? Why would we get bant for this?

I spent my money on it, so i should say how i use it, weather that be sharing the account, or keeping it to myself.

You're a staff member on Zone. I am sure that you can appreciate not wanting anyone to log onto your account and cause problems that may affect your staff position. You may argue that there may be IP restrictions in place, but there will always be people with insecurish IP ranges or shared computers.

Now what if you buy someone else an account, is that illegal? If you give it to them and have no intention of ever using it yourself?

I doubt graal online cares, as long as they're
getting the money .
But, I dont see how that's considered account
sharing if you GAVE the person the account,
and you aren't going to log on o_o, and you never
did log on to it.

The problem with this is that the person who originally bought it has the payment information and can get the password changed. That means they can wait until the person gets a bunch of items on Kingdoms, Era, Maloria, etc, and then they can have the password changed.

You won't get banned if someone else upgraded an account for you. However, I advise to not let people do that. Instead, have them transfer money into your paypal account so you can upgrade it yourself.

What if somebody shares and account, but both of the two people sharing it have another P2P account?

Two people should not be using one account.

We do this for security reasons. I've gotten so many tickets of "hey me and my friend used an account but now my guns are missing on era and i did all the work help me please". We make these rules to protect our players.

They are in no way related. Way to push your valuable opinion, though.

You just threw your suggestion out the window with this post. Lyndzey made good points, and another good point is that a skateboard is not a service. It's an item. You fail to understand that you're paying for access to the Graal servers. You aren't "buying an account", like it's some sort of object. A better comparison would be like buying a pass to an amusement park, enjoying the park for half of the day and then giving your pass to someone else to use for the rest of the day. Does that seem logical? Why not just buy one pass, and have like 5 people share it and get 2 hours each? It's bad for business.

Your bold line is by far the most unintelligent part of your entire post. It doesn't even make sense. You just threw words together and typed in caps. You're using your money to buy an account... Graal isn't telling you how to use your money. If you mean it's your ACCOUNT... Accounts are free, it's the upgrade so that you can access other servers that costs money.

Um, what?

The only thing similar in these two cases is the syntax of each sentence. Preventing players from going on someone else's account is by no means a violation of someone's privacy.
