I have never been able to be idle for 30 minutes, is that the set idle time?

I don't think so, i think it is ten minutes or something like that. I don't idle to be honest, it happens when i'm working with two editors (online & offline) for testing scripts and such.

It only considers you not to be idle if you're pressing directional buttons....and possibly if you say something, too, but i'm not sure about that. So yea when people are praying it gets annoying being disconnected, on GK anyway.

it's also real annoying if im trying to auto-mine and...err.. *coughs* nevermind

I was standing still on Valikorlia talking over mic, and throughout the whole time I didn't move but just talk over mic to a couple of others. I ended up getting disconnected 3 times. It was very annoying and laggy.

But anyway.. the whole idea where the manager has control. is kind of.. a bad idea.. Considering managers can be corrupt and put 10 minute and make us get disconnected all the time.
And especialy when us RPers on Val ends up staying in one spot for a while to type out our actions it will be very annoying to get disconnected every so often.

I think chatting has nothing to do with it. I remember when i was playing Konquence (a game made by Konidias) once at Graal2001 and i reached a good score but get disconnected for not moving and the game did not save my score, that really pissed me off, hehe.

This could be useful for highly populated servers like UN.

Yeah, it only counts movement and normal chat as not idleing. I have lost a few insanely large highscores in GK minigames from a) not knowing that, and b) not chatting enough :\ . Only thing I'd like to see is recognizing all new keystrokes in the game window for resetting the idle count (new because it is not hard to set up something to hold keys down, obviously).

Do what I do, map "pray" to the R key, because when you do get disconnected R is autokey for reconnect, that way you can put something heavy on the R key and go play NES, like me.
