Balance everything and get everything working... then start annoying the hell out of everyone with new bothersome chores... a gentle rise to the top then a small downfall to make a smooth ride... not some crazy thing that will drive people up the wall and down 5 times... Balance -> Content -> Annoying as hell things such as food -> Reset.

Crono 07-03-2004 05:27 PM

I dont get it Mr.Ed :o

Monkeyboy_McGee 07-03-2004 05:29 PM

Completely pointless.

MasterNuke 07-03-2004 05:46 PM

I've explained this before... you fix the bugs and THEN reset... not reset and then fix bugs...

I agree with Brad, all except for the reset. You made money off of GK, your a horrible person for proposing a reset.

Nah, i proposed exp. I said people should keep their items. I am not that big of a scumbag.

You can keep items, stats, etc. I just want all levels to be reset to 1. Yes this would mean our weapons would get wiped, but possibly an npc could be made to receive our diamonds, iwds, ews, stat potions, etc. back to re-create the weapon. I think this would balance the game out to newbies, while not pissing people off who have had their items and worked hella hard for em'.

I know a certain person who has illegally used a game client to gain money
Maybe Graal should sue that certain individual for all that money that he has made and then wipe out his items
Not only does this punish somebody for gaining stuff illegally, it also doesn't punish innocent people like you suggest

Nappa 07-03-2004 08:55 PM

I know anyone above level 70 or so has used a bug that has been pointed out by certain players to me and has been reported to staff.

It has to be imposible to get that high. I have level 19 physical, and it takes me 5-6 brutals to get one level where I kill everything in the map.

Splke 07-03-2004 09:13 PM

We have had over 28 these threads, and not one movement by staff.. why do we try.

this is all what will happen, everyone will be lv 1, and the cheaters will just use the thing again, and everyone but the cheaters will be 1 while the cheaters will be 60, just put a if you see a lv 60 person tell staff and they will freeze thing.

How about we don't punish those that leveled legitly, and half the EXP of those who DID use a bug, if proven?

Trouble is, it can't be proven. Some of these alleged "bugs" would be pretty easy to accidentally use, so anyone's who's ever done that should be reset?

zs0 07-04-2004 01:46 AM

No special items? Rar. I love my War Axe. Keep war axes pls

Yeah, maybe someone accidently bugged 50 levels!

There is no quick way to tell if someone has abused a bug or not... They will not openly admit to using the bug, and not knowing a specific time will take maybe a day per account to search logs. To go through that insanity is a huge waste of time... especially when they already have a long list of things to do.

A lot of people myself included gained overall levels fromthe ruby recipe , stefan okayed this and it is legal . I have heard there are some bugs but I dont know of any since the party bug years ago. I gained my lev 51 physical the hardway , i leveled personality to level 21 by doing bomys and working up, I leveled magic the regular way , I am now trying to level agility and wisdom. I was doing HH over and over to get maps , doing lev 1's , 3's to get maps .
You have to have a commitment to level , for a long time people like zoe, wren , aki that was all they did . Come on graal then level , wren saved up 200+ level 1's and did them. There are a limited amount of really good items , and those with the perseverence to work for stuff , even if you reset will be on top. Do you have that commitment? If you dont , reset or not -I will pwn you ( humbly yours Ana Sagesun :D) oh and brad <3333
