Did you try it? Did it happen as I said it would? I use that same script for places like beaches and rivers to provide ambient sound. Heck, that is a script Stefan made and used on 2k1.

Lading a mp3 / starting the stream takes some time so it is better to fade out the old song, then fade in the new song, otherwise you get some jumps in the music. Effects like echo / hall would be quite interesting, but it would probably be enough to set a general effect mode instead of changing it for each single sound that is played?

that is so out of place, I never expected the command to do that... I mean, loop playing with playlooped? Think about it, if you didn't know it would work like that, why would you try it? Silly Stefan, keeping stuff from us... *puts hands in pockets and kicks a rock while staring at the ground*

Hehe, but it works, yes? :) It does have its limits, however. You cannot loop the same sound twice in the level, but you can use two different sounds...last I checked you could anyway.
