Exactly what I'm trying to say. People don't post silly NPCs in the scripting forum, do they? Then how come this simple concept isn't being applied here? Because the mod in here isn't doing his job correctly. I understand the concept of silly graphics, yes, but there's a difference between these graphics and graphics that haven't had effort put into them at all. Obviously, you know the situation here.

they're making a joke out of this thread because the title is "Hilarity insues!", and the creator was not looking for a critique. He is still using the forum for what it was intended for, showing and discussing graphics. Nobody said you had to submit graphics only for other people to rate.
Missing the point. I understand that he was using the forum for it's intended purpose. I'm not only labelling him, but lately now it's become a trend to post below-quality graphics in here, and it's agitating me that nothing is being done about it.

I agree Deek =/
There's also a rule in the scripting forum that states "no npc requests." Howcome that is not a rule in the graphics forum? =/

Probably because there is a lot of NPC requests and there isn't many GFX requests.

I havn't noticed such a trend, maybe a couple threads, but they are usually from people who post graphics that are both "meaningful" and "silly". The reason I posted this is because I was bored to tears and felt the strange urge to open paint. And that is what come out after messing around for a few minutes. I just found it hilarious how horribly it came out.

The point I was trying to get at with no silly npcs in the scripting forum is because most of the threads are people asking help with commands and such, or ideas they come up with. You don't see them there because people just don't put them their. But if people started to put some funny stuff there, some more may join in. I actually enjoy it though, as it makes the forums more enjoyable to view and not some bland, everyone has to act mature 24/7 forum..

Keep in mind that graphics are different from scripts.

Does it matter?

The main point is there is organization and moderation in the scripting forums, yet it lacks here.

I don't see how posting graphics that you make is against the rules or anything..I mean, is that not the reason why this forum is here?

DustyPorViva 10-19-2003 06:45 PM

I'm talking about the way people judge graphics here, it needs to be moderated.

Maybe I'm not talking about what everyone else is, but I think it is something that needs to be brought up.

In the scripting forum Kai and Jagen keep everything under control, here is complete anarchy.
