Not on GST. We would get globally banned and never allowed on graal again O.o.

To Konidias. For once in my life i argee with you O.o. GST Hasnt and prolly wont touch your server. Also r NPCS/Control NPC. Is only read access. And we dont edit anything most times we just tell you how to edit your self. We're here to help people LEARN..............Give a man a fish, he is fed for a day. Teach a man to fish and he is fed for a lifetimeO.o

Saying anything starting with /npc causes "unknown or incomplete command, type /help for more info" :(

They can't start coming on and editing your scripts, just the controlnpc one because it is the main one.
It's supposed to mean, you shouldn't be saying that, because you abused the little power you had on Graal Kingdoms to mass out profanities and insults to all of GK with your "Events Master" tag. If you can't even handle a freaking tag, how do you think people will handle having access to all scripts on all servers?

I'm fine with them lending a hand, WHEN ASKED. But I'd rather they not just come on playerworlds whenever they feel like it and tell you what to do with your stuff. "Oh well I was looking through all your npcs, and I think this one is terribly inefficient, give me access and I'll rebuild it for you".

Then there's the problem of "if it's not broke, don't fix it". Say one of these people helps remake a script, yet leaves in the middle of making it, so you're left with a half working script, for weeks. That would totally suck.

Yes! Precisely!

Tseng 05-03-2003 05:48 PM

Optimally, we tell you what's wrong with your NPCs, thereby "teaching you how to fish." Then, your scripters, after "learning how to fish" can fix it themselves. We aren't bullies going around "messing with all your scripts."

We're more like an advisory group who can take action in emergencies.

zell12 05-03-2003 09:58 PM

I had my em tag on, yeah, I took it off and cussed at everyone a few times. Wow, what does a tag have to do with anything anyway?

Besides, since the control npc is the main dbnpc, that is where most of the scripts will be that cause the most lag and stuff. The GST has the responsibility to make sure your playerworld is optomized.

Besides, when they find a problem they come tell the Manager and tell him how to fix it, or ask the manager if they can.

HoudiniMan 05-04-2003 12:32 AM

i prefer he'll eat for a day/he'll eat for a lifetime..

but it's all good ;)

Androk 05-04-2003 04:46 AM

I hate fish... stop with all these fish notes -.-

As for GST, I am happy that it was created. I still have no clue if PWs in making offline can use their assistance?
