But hey, the Drakkara isn't a type of bomy, it's a whole new race that could evolve from one. As soon as I find the time, I'll put an animated one in my sig (although this could be sped up if some kind soul offered to, uh, do it for me). |
make it if you stay at 100 ap it speeds up the evoltion of the bomy's and if you are like under 30 ap you slow down the evoltion
|
ok, heres the jist, bomys evolve
choose a alingment each alignment gets dif evil=dragon thingy's nutral=human thingy's good=bird/angel thingy's and depending on which attribute you choose you get to have different ability=ies, or depending on the quests you go on underwater speed ect. |
I like that... Your evolution depending on your AP is cool. We could have it less as an evolution thing and more like the bomy stage is just a crysalis, and the actual creature is growing inside. Then we'd have an excuse to make them evolve differently based on moods.
|
hmmm
i liek the choosing thing because if they want to be a pacifist and be evil, but dont want to be pked, then let em, and ect., hmm, this is becoming cool, Tyhm, try to make this little 'project' a official thread or somtin, we're getting far on this, and you support it greatly too

Indeed, the style of the races very much fits the AP divide. The Drakkara (whihc I plan to post here when they've been sufficiently polished and tested online) are obviously quite evil, whereas the Sal... *fumbles with his keyboard and fails to find the combination for the "æ" character* ...uh, flying thingies are seemingly quite nice guys. Plus this would let them suit their player's personalities. The *finds the keycode* Sælei would be for high-AP characters who don't want to PK, so it's easy for them to survive being attacked. The Drakkara are a fighter race so we make them less adept at, say, making money by making very few jobs for them, but to compensate we give them some sort of advantage in fighting (if we can balance it properly, of course).
The guys inbetween could be the Zulites, and then we've found a way to integrate all 3 new races into the world without major changes. Sounds good to me. |
I was thinking of play choice, the player gets to choose wether they want thoes races, they are appeard and sterotyped as evila nd good, but no race is all evil, good or netrual. the players get to chose what they like and such and they can be good or evil if they want, they shouldn't be like they get pissed off at someone, kill them 'cause they come back, become (ap=<50) evil and evolve into somtin they didn't want.
|
yeah it should be down to what you pick coz say you chose to be a good bomy and bad player bomy comes and starts attackin you if you have to stay in the gold to evolve to the good how are you goin to defend your self are you just gonna let him attack you coz you want to be good and evolve and how are you goin to make the races availible to the exsistin players
|
or either that, but i was leaning towards the idea that a good evolved bomy may like the good looks of good and like it, and the abilities but no race is pure good, so that means if they want to be a good char abilities but be 'evil' they still can, they may just like the abilities or looks of the creatures
|
It would be nice if it took a REALLY long time, so it was like a reward for long time players.
Because we're all long time players of the 2001 server, I like the idea of giving long time players rewards. ;) |

ok....

I think that would be cool, but i think there should be some kind of randonymity factor (did i spell that right?) where if you are at like 52 you could get an evil one just by chance, and the hoigher you go up the lesser the chnce of things just happening
example 52 = 30% you could get an evil one 48 = 30% you could get a good one 99 = 0.5% you will get a evil one and so on... |
players choice is good 'cause you get to choose you stuff and not accidentally get the wrong race
lets try to see if this can become OFFICIAL...lol |
Yeah i wanna be a cute flying bomy =)
