Pandora is going to be amazing...

I'm still working on the website and setting up a chat and forum, please be patient

Thanks for your nice words everyone. I was hoping people would like my tiles, though I don't really know if I like the idea of small bodies on the overworld, I wanted to give the server a SNES rpg feel, where the char was way bigger than everything else. (ex: FF2, FF3, Lufia, Lufia2, 7th Saga, etc). If you make small bodies on the overworld then combat gets all screwed up :(

Warcaptain 01-16-2002 02:48 AM

oladahn says that cuz he isnt aware of the more recent scripting commands ;) or doesnt know of how they can be used :)

if big bodies were used on overworld, it would get REAL crowded.

and also it would be less-cool--less effort, to have big bodies ;)

Yes, big bodies on the overworld would be... weird.

Smaller, slower moving bodies are more realistic, and make the world seem more adventurious, and mysterious.

lets see here... I have seen those tiles in RPG maker program

WHIPENIE4 01-16-2002 05:37 AM

stfu , mommy mommy he stole those gfx from a program , shut up you little rat , i bet they might look like it but he made it.

Warcaptain 01-16-2002 05:59 AM

no, i have the rpg maker tileset, the only thing similar is the smallness.

Oladahn 01-16-2002 11:56 AM

Um you idiot micro, seeing as though i made the trees from the graal grass tiles (you can tell), the mountains I modeled after the small brown mountains in Shinging force 2, The big mountains from a picture in one of my dad's hiking mags, and the houses are graal style not rpg maker style I don't see where that retarded acusation is coming from.

he's just jealous Oladahn, you pwn him at gfx :)

about the map though, it's definently a good idea to have smaller bodies. when you use "M" or something will you be able to see everyone on the map or will that be disabled, fixed somehow?

Warcaptain 01-17-2002 03:16 AM

heh i think no one knows what you are talkin bout, but yeah that made a good point, ill think about it :)

royce 01-18-2002 09:41 AM

I think when you come out the a forest and entering a town hte levels becomes tiny and ur a tiny dude, and the game itself makes you walk up the path to town.
