With that said, Tim has quit his role of manager on Era. The PWAs have announced that I will be Era's new trial manager. I hope to continue pushing out new content as we have been over the past few months as well as maintain the peaceful vibe that is present on the staff team. I feel that if I can do those two things, Era will live long and prosper.

One last thanks to the PWA team for giving me the chance to prove myself as the manager of Era!

Hi. Hope things move smoothly for you. :)

I've worked under Andy, Smu, kinetaro and even that brief time where HoudiniMan was in charge (god help us all) - and not a single one of them managed to encapsulate the drive for content that Tim managed to do. In his tenure alone, I've seen more core systems updated, fixed and extended than I have seen anything else done by any of the other managers bar perhaps Andy. I have never worked under a manager so willing to try out new ideas and give his staff free reign to work on small projects which then become new content for players.

You have Tim to thank for a lot of positive changes which are now everyday things for Era players.

I can't say I know what the future holds, but Zach and Tim have always had effectively the same mindset. Here's to the future, and a whole lot of cool **** to come.

tim did a lot of updates yes (except 2-3months where he slacked out), but most of them are useless for the majority of era. he should've focused more on gangs (which is what ppl rly want to do on era) by adding more/diverse bases, creating the gang eventbot and having people host more gang events.

but most importantly, he totally ignored 70-80% of era's playerbase which wanted the stats to go back to normal (.05 freeze minimum instead of .1). this is a huge limitation to era, which is a lot less challenging now. i hope you have a more open mind regarding this matter zach, since it's what most of era wants to see

Not sure what you mean by 2-3 months, I almost always had something going on and the most time that went by without any updates were 1-2 weeks, maybe you're confused? And even then, just because you don't see updates, doesn't mean their not happening.

Short: There were always updates going on.

Uh, what? I put a lot of time into gangs. I made several prototype bases, most of them were gmaps, yes, but they did the job better than previous bases. In fact to even prove that gmap bases weren't the issue, we even released a stand-alone base which was just a copy of the old Black Holst base (at your request), which no one actually uses, ever.

I think you need to just accept the fact that the community has changed, it's not what it used to be and I think a lot of people would agree with that.

I did the best I could with gangs, I made a gang shop so you could spend points. You guys bought gang guns with it, slots, health packs, etc. And really the way I have it set up makes it really easy to add new content for future staff members. Hell, I even spent an entire day just adding admin modes to the gang system so it wouldn't require a scripter every time a change needed to be done to a gang.

Also regarding gang events, those were close to impossible to host. Zach always had a hard time getting those prepared and ready due to players having issues with the time (work, school, etc).

Short: I did the best I could with gangs.

Wrong. A lot of people actually thanked me for not allowing stats to be changed. Players don't like it when they have "the best gun" and suddenly their gun is completely worthless the next day. No matter how you put a spin on it, you'll always be wrong. You guys have tried debating it with me over and over and lost every single time.

Players don't actually know what they want, and when I change something, they'll complain, if I leave it alone, guess what? They'll complain, there's just no winning.

Short: Get better.
