If the bonuses from the higher streaks are good enough it'll just encourage people to run even more so that they dont lose their streak.
Everyone on the server will have Juggernaut and some of the lamest pricks out there will have kill streaks in the triple digits. /Devils Advocate |

there's no need for killstreaks in order to promote running..running has never been so popular since the bases suit such a playstyle

Not sure when the last time either of you truly raided, but running is not as much a problem as it used to be... once you're hit.
Players are confined to a small gmap these days and running is fairly difficult because you can be flanked and cornered from every angle. There are obstacles that obstruct your path and severely slow you down. Despite all this, I'd be foolish if I said running didn't exist. All I'm saying is that it isn't as much a problem and survival, regardless of effort, is limited in the gang bases.The Main GMap is a whole 'nother story though. |
wtf r u talking about? running is way easier..all u had to do to block runners before was
in main level: have 1 gang member block door and spam other levels: send any player trying to escape from elevator to b2 or another level (depending on base) by simply changing ele number after the doors open. now to run u can easily run from level to level using the stairs (which have ZERO freeze) or if there are only 5-6 players in the level u can easily evade combat by running around furniture and other useless things which are part of these new humongous levels. |
I appreciate all the work you are putting in Vimes, but this update would put Era in the wrong direction.
Why is everything focused on kills now? Gang raiding has lost it's strategy and this isn't going to help. I'll turn on my xbox and play a shooting game if I just want to get kills. Put respawn health at 10 and when an "intruding" gang takes control of an enemy base for a certain time give them a buff. I really don't want to get nuked and be hit by 60 dmg neo rifle bullets because the other person already killed 5 Doughnut Squad members. |
We're progressing fairly well on this system, and now we're looking to get a list of potential bonuses. Say "/vote" in-game to open up the new voting window, which will let you submit ideas and vote on the ideas of others.
