Intro is too long and boring...
I had only 10 minutes of free time left, and I couldn't make it through in time. And thats going straight through.
I don't even think I was near the end, 10+ minute intro? Thats a bit much...

I get the 'trying to preserve' an old server thing...but....yeah.

The tileset is wayyy to green...the grass burns my eyes.
The trees are just hideous. I'm sorry, but they are just plain ugly...

Some NPC's in the quest dont animate properly. Sliding across the level, when they should be walking. Looks very crappy, and like no work went into it.
At time, npc would randomly move across the level, across walls for no reason.

The levels are decent, but should be updated.

I never got past the intro since I went into observer, so, idk if anything is even changed from the original SL.

Since Shaded Legend was originally designed to be GS1 there will be scripts at this point that are buggy. Many of the system scripts have been converted and some of the overworld has been blocked until such time as they can get more converted.

Their move to hosted will hopefully help them to continue a rapid restructuring of one of Graals favored older servers while having players help them find things that need to be addressed early on.

Best of luck to SL with its future accomplishments.

Right now, there is a decent portion of the staff team working solely on bringing back events and improving the overall experience. The following is planned: new events center with a special tileset, conversion of scripts to GS2, creation of new events, fixing of old events, new events system, new events prizes, new events center, and staff tools.

Everything is going along nicely, which is something that doesn't ever seem to happen, so go figure.

Why aren't hosted servers classic enabled? It seems rather counter-productive.

When the point of going hosted is to get help and criticism from the Graal community, yet you isolate the people who either don't want to re-pay for a gold subscription or have lifetime classic.

The prize for going to Classic tab is to be Classic enabled. If Hosted was given the same benefit there would be no incentive to continue development and try for a finished server.
Hosted only means they have a small glimpse of what is to come as long as they continue to develop. It is not just for criticism but to possibly gain interest by other developers to come work for them.

I personally have seen Hosted servers that had a small but steady playercount not even attempt to finish their servers since it was good enough in their eyes. If it were also free to play that would make even more servers not bother to try.

Well, I bring the point up because I want to get back into Graal development, but i'm limited to Classic servers only, since i'm no way going to pay $50+ just for that purpose alone.

At the very least, lifetime classic accounts should have access to the hosted servers. Not all UC servers, but at least the hosted ones.
If I see a server go hosted, and I want to offer my help, too bad. I have lifetime classic.

Just seems like it would benefit the servers more if they were opened up to more development opportunities, other than just the people who pay outrageous amounts of money for their accounts.

Come work on GK with me, Kingdoms Debug is Classic enabled. :D

Not to go offtopic, gz to Shaded Legend!

Still though, GOOD LUCK! I noticed this yesterday that it was hosted but I'm very proud of you guys (: I can't wait to play :P

What's offered here that isn't offered elsewhere or at a higher standard? No offense, but it seems to be in very poor condition right now and I'm very surprised this can get you onto the hosted tab.

Edit: Or maybe I'm just blinded by Atlantis' quality in comparison, especially since AEON has been on the Hosted tab for like 10 years. I dunno.

Don't worry, they're nearing completion any moment now!
