If you are trying to make money for a gun, potion, car etc, it is hard even to dig in the beach without a crab eventually killing you, and you have to run all the way back. The only solution to this is bringing lots of soda, and regurally drinking it after taking damage from a crab.

If there's a solution, stick to it. Make the game too ez and you're left with a boring ass game.

We definitely need gas masks.

Or just buy the week-long auto revive bull**** and call it good.

Seriously, who thought that was a good idea?

The auto-revive? I think it's not a terrible thing.

Era on the PC was always plagued by runners trying to keep their KDR high. I know you can still see deaths using showdeaths, but no one can see in your profile. So in combination with only kills being shown, there's pretty much no penalty for death.

I think base-raiding has become a little ridiculous though. I mean it was too slow on Era PC. But iPhone it's too fast, there's no way to defend sometimes unless you're one of the roflgangs who recruit everyone with a gun to defend.

So instead of combatting runners with an intelligent design decision like the PK timer on PC Era, let's just let everyone resurrect from the dead -exactly- where they died. That way, everyone gets a kill!

You don't understand even the basic gameplay (spoiler: there's no advanced) if you think an auto-revive is a good idea.

Don't bash me for something I didn't say. I didn't say it was a -good- idea. It speeds up the game, you don't have to stick around and wait for them to revive. It's not instant-revive.

Is it THE way to combat runners? Was it meant to combat runners? Probably no for both, but it inadvertently gives less incentive to run.

Are you not buying auto-revive?
