:( I would have liked to see it xD

DemonSpawnn 11-21-2010 07:54 AM

this should be in the "read before posting here".

kia345 11-21-2010 05:01 PM

Or maybe people should just read that before posting anyway, because it covers most of this.

kia345 12-18-2010 09:51 PM

wow this thread was so useful in cutting back on the badly presented threads.

Cloven 12-18-2010 10:32 PM

The solution: Add a forum TOS agreement that must be accepted before posting is enabled. Then when people are banned from this forum for stupidity they won't have a leg to stand on when crying to the moderators. [/sarcasm] :p

I think it's to the point where someone needs to enforce requirements, and require approval, again.

WhiteDragon 12-18-2010 11:53 PM

I don't. People are only hurting themselves when they post a poorly-made hiring thread, so there is no need to enforce rules for them. As long as the main forum rules (no spamming, etc.) are enforced, I see no problems.

That was a silly idea the first time around, and it still is.

fowlplay4 12-19-2010 12:46 AM

Nothing is as silly as having links requiring approval but not actually having the forum software enforce it.

DemonSpawnn 12-19-2010 01:24 AM

I think they should be directed to read this, before posting here..
If they don't read it or choose to ignore it, Its their choice..

Agreed. That's what all the other game forums do if they care about not being held responsible for any off-site content posted.

This is the correct way of doing a hiring thread on forums. Nice work Cubical on putting this on forums for those who don't know how to make a hiring thread.
