Kind of surprising how many people I still talk to today were actually from long ago. I haven't really picked up new people to talk to, mostly just the same old people. Also keep in mind I mainly only played 2000-2004, and had very sporadic intervals between 2006-2010. But here's the list:

Those are the main people I've grown to like over time, there are a lot more, MANY from N-Pulse and many more from Babylon that I haven't seen in years. I listed James because he was a specifically good pal.

There are also a few more from more recent years, but I'm not going to list them because I didn't exactly "grow up" with them.

I was with a different person everyday on classic servers long ago, and none of them really stick in my head :( Once I started developing though I got to know some people better.
