Yeah but exactly THIS point should not apply for graal kingdoms, as you have to pay to play it.
From a business model, it has evolved into this:
Pay someone else for doing work, in opposition to getting payed for working.

Yeah, CJ fanboys, of course we don't have to play graal, but we like to do it.
And: GK is a videogame and no development platform. We pay for it, so CJ should bring content for it, independent of tig's activity who probaply gets hardly or no money at all for his work.

Of course players should contribute if they like, but if they just don't do it (which seems to be the case at the moment) CJ should do work for the payed fines.

I'd like leveling to be less of a drag

I would agree totally but they still need players to be staff on them. What should be done is hiring more people who will get stuff done and then Tig on his spare time can check over the work and decide what to implement and what not too (what needs to be fixed etc).

Not many people that have awesome development skill I assume would actually have time to develop a lot for Kingdoms.

My thing about expectations/requirments would come into play when amateurs have a go at development and we're back where we started off.
Atleast that's how I see it, correct me if I'm wrong.

Then why did you volunteer to be a part of the GDT?

We, as players, should not have to do development for the game/server we pay for. That's just ridiculous.

Seems like i'll say the same thing every year. GK needs:
New dungeons; New monsters, Real quests + alot more repeatables (not just geared to gold keys for gods sake); Economic stability (very very important!! but needs the first three to be done) in that all or most low-midhigh level gear should be obtainable, mostly by drop (rare, very rare and very uncommon drops, maybie extreme rares say raging drag for a big boss dragon :D), but also by craft (e.g. turkey helmet = x enchanted turkey feathers + x iron plates + potion of speed); More in depth take-on kingdom isles - they just sit there; More player-started events.

Shortened my list from last years... straight to the point. If these were done, and not just a one time thing then wait couples years till you open your ears to problems. It'd have to be a regular thing like x dungeons released a year, balanced new items always being released - don't do a maloria and go for better all the time you think of new items, new noob items or fun items would be just aswell recieved.

That's everyone's wishes summed up really

seems this conversation comes back every year....

kia345 09-26-2009 02:48 PM

Because after a year on GK, nothing has changed

The list won't change, because nothing is ever added. Nobody will ever do it because Graal expects it's players to do the work for it.

Graals time ended a while ago. not just kingdoms. maybe if a new good server pops up that will spark a playercount for a few months
