Judge it for yourself.

The image is zoomed in as well. I screen-capped it on my touch4g which has a higher res I think.

The 4th generations are capable of higher resolution but I don't think Graal takes advantage of it (it would just make everything look zoomed out in the end). Can always check the GraalControl width and height though

Retina display was kinda made for that.
4 times more pixels on the screen = bigger img = more details = better look.

It's made for GUI's and a sleek interface, but it doesn't really have the power to render most games at that high of a resolution.

I wish it would - it's not as if screen real estate isn't important.

Seeing as he said it was taken from his iPhone 4g I would suspect testing on the iPhone has commenced?

If the server was made from scratch to take advantage of it then it would be awesome. Currently, it would make things look very odd.

Can't see how players will deal with over 2 skills including slashing their weapon imo

I'm also opting towards a Hub-world (with social hubs of course) style rather than an Open-world.

Tyhm wants you in him, now.

Could easily fit 5 more buttons in the same shape as the direction buttons with a melee attack in the middle.
But making modifier buttons and 2-3 actual hotkey buttons would allow for way more options.
I play WoW with an Xbox controller and I have 20 spells hotkeyed, as well as shortcuts to target each party member in 25 man raids.

Ya dude.
X, Y, A, B
LB + X, Y, A, B
LT + X, Y, A, B
RB + X, Y, A, B
RT + X, Y, A, B
For spells.

And then the same but with D-pad for targeting, plus left analogue stick in as another modifier.
Back and start are target next and target previous enemies.
Start + left analogue in is to target my target's target, etc. etc.

Would be a lot easier if there were PC drivers for the chatpad, but didn't take me long to get used to my current setup.

crazy.

RegretZ 01-04-2011 04:16 PM

I already contributed my idea ;3
