You can prove the bible wrong from a 1% similarity in genes. I remember this guy who was a astrologists and he was out to prove the bible wrong and find out how the earth really did start, he tried for years and when he finally came to his conclusion that he couldnt prove it wrong he became a popular priest. I sure as hell know we werent apes millions of years ago...maybe we looked like them but never were "apes" before.

You can't prove religion is wrong, simply because it's so stupidly secretive. "Hey, there's a supreme being but... uh... you can't see him or touch him or anything like that..." Imaginary friends, anyone?

Anyway, "we" weren't apes but our ancestors were. Your instincts do nothing to disprove this.

You cant prove that either...just by a simple similarity in DNA doesnt mean jack....

Unfortunately, I can't give anyone understanding by typing them to you. Faith is faith, I will never defend religion because it cannot be defended. All I will ever offer is solid facts; I'm no fan of apologetics but the facts oftentimes validate the faith, but when they don't, I trust the facts.

I'll have to think. Firstly, non-marital intercourse is bad. So called "protection" does not offer adequate protection to curtail the numerous negative side effects of sex. Untilo it does, no matter how much "protection" is used, intercourse will remain an irresponsible decision.

Genetics is more evidence for evolution, not against christianity. The most minsunderstood fact is that Science and Religion never conflict with each other. God created science, science is objective, religion is subjective. To say otherwise is, as philosophers and mathematicians alike say, a "categorical error."

What I ask of each of you is that you simply recognize that no matter how passionate your feelings, subjective argument goes nowhere but to your own soul. If you want to influence people, or to make a respectible case, you have to provide factual evidence. The only exception is universally accepted ethical standards like "stealing is selfish." "selfishness is bad." "Honesty is good," etc.

I wasn't proving religion wrong, I'm stating specific examples that the bible was incorrect about. And the part about the Earth being 5000 years old. I doubt any of us will dispute that that's incorrect.

Nothar is currently planning on submitting so we can go up as under construction and work things out... But it will take awhile before people will notice it :D

If you dont know what it is by now its a cyclops and will be a player race for our world, We have other races in work such as elfs, some flying guys, bugs and so on...

This poll isn't fair. I haven't released that much info on Providence,
you don't know half the stuff on it, same with other players.

I've restarted the overworld because the shape of the other one was
too small, and it was enclosed land, and I couldn't make beaches.
(TIP: Never start a playerworld on the first generated map you've ever made)

:D i got the bushes from the damasca tileset..cause they looked so cool...and much better than the default.....I'm kinda working around with my seasons tilesets...trying to make them look nice...I wish I could find a really good gfx person....oh well....

pheh...i only took the silly bush.....not the whole set.....most of their set contained illegal images....i just wanted the bush

Stefan should add support for switching the sprite.png....so that it matchs the tilesets correctly

you dont need to do that, you can just rebuild it with script

explain it to me then.....because the throw objects are kept in the sprites.png if you didnt notice. Which means, if you change the sign in your tileset (pics1.png) you need to change the sprite in sprites.png so that it looks right.....

i think he means REMAKING everything.. like.. bombs, arrows, with your own script instead of the built-in one

you could simply switch the playercarry image thingy to a sign image...or takeplayercarry and make a NPC which shows a image above head...or so many other things...

very true, but currently thats not possible...using script will have the exact same effect...for insance with this, you could replace the walk and idle ganis...add some script for a few things...and you could duplicate the exact thing that sprites.png does...

There is nothing in the ganis that define that kind of stuff...i just checked......especially for when the player walks in swamp tile.....graal just detects the tiles the player is on and places the sprite overtop.....samething goes for the carry thing.....all graal does is detect and load images for those kinds of things. There are no commands yet to define alternate sources...if there was, I wouldn't comment on this :D

Must i proove you wrong, G Yoshi? :D Well here it goes:

Animations:
- replacegani aniname,newani;
Lets the player use a different animation for
walking, swimming etc. You can do things like
replacegani walk,mywalk; if you want the player
use mywalk.gani as walking animation (instead of
writing your own walking script); This takes only
effect till the player logs off, so you must put it
in a system npc or so; its not lagging;
The default animations are:
idle,walk,walkslow,kick,sword,ridesword,
spin,push,grab,pull,lift,carrystill,
hiddenstill,carry,hidden,shoot,ridestill,
ridefire,rideeat,ride,sit,sleep,hurt,
ridehurt,dead,maps1,maps2,maps3,swim,
lava,carried
To reset the default animation just do
replacegani walk,walk; etc.

it should speak for itself ;)
