it doesnt quite work out that well with GK (and other graal servers), u have grab, sword, shield at ASD, + mouse for cast spells/shooting arrows with a cross-/bow
you would have to re-assign the ASD to somewere else, but there aint a good place to have those on, if u take WASD for moving

No support for joysticks right now, there are many tools for mapping joystick on keys though.

Not to call you out on your laziness or anything but... We don't feel like trying to download xpadder or any other joystick to keyboard mapping programs and risk a virus ya kno'?

Not really. It's your choice to use a joystick. If you're afraid to get a virus, use a keyboard like everybody else.

Awesome attitude to take towards a game that once supported joysticks and then suddenly decided not to.

I'd point out the mass stupidity with your post but it's clear it would fly over your head.

Obviously implementing DirectInput (or other Joystick APIs) was on the lower spectrum of priorities when it came to developing the new client. Stefan did say 'yet' which doesn't mean it's not going to be re-implemented.

The mapping wasn't even that good either, with an external program you could map non-standard Graal keys as well and probably have a better time as a result.

EclipsedAngel 12-02-2010 03:13 AM

To you know who: Ever heard of an update? probably not. They've been updating the client via server side if you haven't noticed, so if you're going to be absolutely oblivious then don't post here.
