In all seriousness, what did happen to this? Was it just forgotten or? I would actually try and play GK for a bit, if I could get in a hot air balloon, and drop bombs on the unsuspecting people of GK.

The last 8 pages have been bickering of the flying technology not being released lol.

We plan to use it soon. We were not releasing it before because we didn't want to just add it and then it gets forgoten after a few weeks. It should really improve the game play. I understand that it can be frustating that this has not been used yet although it was already quite finished two years ago.

That makes no sense.

"We didn't release because we didn't want you to forget about it, so instead, we're making you wait over two years for it"

I've been toying with it myself for some of my future projects on GK, if that's any condolence to your poor tormented soul.

x.x What are you talking about?

We'll still forget about it, as you say, no matter if you wait 2 years. And anyway, after two years, there'll be less "wow" and more "finally ..."

DustyPorViva 04-28-2008 10:56 PM

Well we've kind of remembered it this long and we haven't even gotten to use it, or see anything more than a screenshot. That's kind of terrible logic.

cbk1994 04-28-2008 11:09 PM

Can we just get it released so that we can build some cool stuff? That way people will enjoy it?

kia345 04-28-2008 11:17 PM

Now it needs to be vastly improved. Before it was amazing. But releasing what was amazing two years later loses a lot of flare.

Rufus 04-29-2008 12:10 AM

Personally I can't wait for the "Flying Technology dream of flight!!!!" to be released so you'll all shut the hell up about it and stop complaining over something that is so obviously going to be pretty insignificant, when it has been released for a few weeks.

kia345 04-29-2008 12:23 AM

It's not that I can't wait for it, it's that here's unix showing us a sexy update that looked like a nice fad, and then it taking two years to release.

CABAL49 04-30-2008 01:30 AM

Final Fantasy Graal comes to mind for some reason

cbk1994 04-30-2008 01:34 AM

Any progress? I figure 2 years is enough time to put the finishing touches on something that is already completed
