I had no problem with Chuck. I had no problem with other adults who play. I am an adult myself. It is because you have a position of power, and run this like a God damned preschool instead of a forum which young adults frequent. There is a wall between you and people who are younger than you, and this was not realized when you were appointed moderator, and clearly not when you were appointed forum administrator.

The whole NGRT farce, the whole "The Lounge" farce, everything is becase you had to whine and complain to unixmad. Do not think that I am stupid enough to believe that you didn't wholly contribute to those events which basically left any debating on the forum pointless. You used to participate in those debates, including some of the homosexual-directed ones, and when people started making points that you didn't like (and it was a matter of preference on your part, since they were accompanied by relevant studies), you started PMing them threateningly and calling them homophobic (I can only assume, since you did to me on at least one occasion).

And unfortunately, you don't give a **** about the community. Anyone who really cared about the community instead of being the king (or queen, as the case may be) **** of turd island would have quit over that ridiculous "no non-graal links" rule. Also, you would not have completely warped the community to the little dollhouse that it has become if you actually cared about the people in it. As much as you would like to think about this not having to do with your horrible actions, it is. Don't fool yourself more than you already do when you think that you're doing the right thing.

I'm sorry I didn't phrase it in the form "The reason people are unfair to you is...". And it does answer your question just fine.

I think Moonie should quit and we bring back Lycia.

Your hatred for me, based on my job on the forums has completely blinded you, as well as a few others, to the whole point of this thread.

I asked a simple question, out of curiosity, but most of the answers were based on my job on the forums, which had nothing to do with the question.

What did I expect? Exactly what happened.
I knew that some would use this thread as an "I hate Moonie because she is a bad mod", and I also knew who would do it. I wasn't wrong.
But, I did get good input from a few people, so I'm happy.

Who are those members?

I asked the guy I work who is 37 and told him about this situation and he told me that its pretty sad that you are playing this game with a bunch of teenagers. He asked if you use this game as an ego boost since you can control anyone in RL? He said its like himself playing against his kids in basketball and useing his size and age to his advantage. His kids are 8.

So everybody who moderates a forum have to be a young person? Or is it just because graal is a game, and a game forum MUST have moderators younger than 20 or 30?

I hate that thinking in black and white. Let the people the freedom to do what they like to do, as long as they dont break the rules of social life, which includes rules of a forum.

No. I feel no need to boost my ego, nor do I feel the need to control anyone either on the game or in real life.
I also don't feel the need to ask someone else in real life about something I am asking input for from actual players on the game.

That would be pretty sad if I were to do that, but I don't.
That's probably why my family doesn't mind what I do in my recreational time.

You are using this thread to attack me and my personal life, which you know nothing about. Not that it upsets me, really.
I know how my life is, my family knows, and we are all very cool with it :)
You can keep pretending all you want, that you know all about me personally if it makes you feel better.

See, I would rather not pretend that I know a person, and why they do things, that is why I made this thread, to try to find out why age makes such a difference on Graal. I may have to scroll through the "I hate Moonie because...." posts, but I am still getting the input I asked for here and there.

It seems to me like he thinks that parents either should have no leisure time at all without their kids, or just not play games if you are a parent, because if they do, they surely neglect their children. That is what I get out of his posts.
Or maybe he thinks that parents should not play games that other children play, which is sad.
I like to play video games with kids, is that horrible? I like to play childrens board games with kids, is that horrible?
When my kids were playing baseball, I liked to play with them (all the kids), is that horrible? Or is it just online games? If so, what is the difference?

A variety of reasons, but I think the main one is that kids play Graal to get away from their parents, or adults in general.
I think kids are more against parents (especially moms) that play Graal, then adults in general.
