Ooh, i'm going to have to get my grubby hands on that then. Whats the project name for it? i.e. "Edgy Eft"

Well i managed to fix the playerlist problem by just going to to folder and setting graal4.exe to run as administrator

Installing Linux isn't really a valid solution.

CremisiSteam 04-26-2007 07:17 AM

yesh it is...

I installed with virtual pc software... now all I gots to do is get it to connect to my network hehee...

but right now I am just playing with it normally...

HoudiniMan 04-26-2007 09:07 PM

No, it's not a valid solution.

As time passes the number of people who dont have access to XP will grow, and FAST. The simple fact being most people dont have the technical expertise to know that Vista is causing the problem, or how to switch OSes.

Graal needs to be vista compatible as fast as possible.

That solution is just a bandage so you don't lose access, and many players already have lost access completely because they aren't "computer people".

TalonShriner 04-27-2007 10:18 PM

stefan, are you planning on making a patch and releasing soon? I don't really want to screw around and do any of these temporary "bandages" as Houdini calls them. And also, is anyone not seeing anything happen when they open Graal or Editor in full screen or maximized windows?

MisterMastermind 04-27-2007 11:05 PM

I'm using vista now, so making graal vista compatible is important.

I hate vista just for this reason x.x I have it but like tons of the gfx on zone are messed up but all the classic servers work fine any idea when a patch will be made?

Admins 04-28-2007 11:53 AM

Some screenshots would help, also information about your graphics card.
Graal works fine on our Vista installation, installing it into a folder which doesn't have spaces in its name is fixing the problem of freezing when you open a PM. Graphical messups might have to do with special graphic card driver problems.
