How would you rate their social status?

Why would they? Why should they care, seriously.
I don't interfere with their hobbies, as long as they break no laws.
They don't interfere with mine.

I don't neglect them. I don't neglect my responsabilities.
My computer is in the living room, I'm not hiding away in my bedroom with the door shut, and a do not disturb sign on the door.

My kids, my husband, my life, my responsabilities all come before my hobby, so why would they care?

I understand where you're going with this. I would be embarrassed if my parents played a MMORPG. The only people in school who would actually accept it-is someone who isn't social with other kids.

Where do you get these facts from? Obviously not real-life experiences.

My sister has a daughter who is 13ish or something like that, and she (my sister) and her boyfriend both play a different MMORPG which does not affect the sociability of their daughter to the least.

You should stop attempting to get into the minds of other people, unless you have a degree in psychology which I am not aware of (and is not blatantly obvious.)

So you know for a fact that inside somehow she doesn't feel neglected or isn't teased in school? Also is the boyfriend the girls father?

The question wasn't about neglect, but about the teasing thing, yes I am sure. And yes, the boyfriend is her father.

Wow, you have to be really 'fragile' to be bothered by parents who play online games :\
One might say there were problems to begin with ;)

The problem goes by the name of excaliber! Aparently people on here don't know how to read sarcasm, so this is a little disclaimer telling people that it is sarcasm and not to get freaked out and call me a retard about it or anything of that nature.

You are not sure unless you can feel what she feels. So your sister had a child out of wedlock; I'm sure the little girl loves everyone knowing that mommy and daddy are just boyfriend and girlfriend.

I can't get to my point because I'd simply be banned. Aknts knows where I was going and kind of touched on the subject.

And other people wouldn't know from everyday life, let alone an mmorpg?
I agree with you, parents should make time for family, but that doesn't mean never doing things they like to do.
