They haven't been playing near as long as the others in the list though.

I don't care anyway.

I must stop replying to this thread!

You have global warpto too, by the way :)
You must also stop putting that small text under your posts

The legend of Herocles takes place 143 years before that of Erichthonius, but nobody calls the latter a newbie. There's a certain threshold where it doesn't matter how long you've played. The older players may have been around at the start but people hardly remember them anymore, and that's not what legends are about. Anybody who takes the smallest of parts in Graal society knows who Lycia is and could mention a few of her more notorious feats, but I've been around for two years and have never picked up anything about these Azraels and Ibonics. They're not legends; they're just names.

Not that I think I'm a legend - hardly anybody seems to have heard of me even now. But I like to think that a few people will remember me if only for my scripting ability.

I never call anyone a "newbie", and I know that how long someone's played means nothing. Most of the names in that list were people that have played for a long time, so I figured that whoever posted it was claiming that Lycia and whoever else have too.

Again, I'm trying not to care about this because I don't think anyone that plays a game is a "legend" in the first place.

I probably shouldn't post at all, everyone always wants to argue (or your word) with me. :)

Nah..I'll remember you as that awesome down-to-Earth guy...Your scripting abilities are great, don't get me wrong..But I'd rather remember you as a friend instead of "That Staff dude who could script"

That was his Secret alter ego , not many knew that was really Zorro , he used to mess with Moon Goddess alot and warp her to old levels and play games with her on Classic , it was funny , I used to stand behind her at her comp and watch the maddess!!:D

That was over 2 years ago.....

Everyone has a secret other nickname and has played since year 1902!

Kuza 10-04-2002 06:51 AM

i've always thought of kai as the too-smart-for-his-own-pants-yet-cleverishly-witty-cool type...

pachuka is the most legendary, duh.

..CHU CHU ROCKET!!!!!!

Zorro really does though.

I don't not believe you. I was just sarcasticly stating that because it seems like everyone makes the same claim. I don't understand why some people think that playing since the game came out makes them better than other people etc.
Most of them did just that, played.

Because they enjoy being labeled an "oldbie".
Personally I'd rather be new to the game again.
That's when it was most fun. :)

Yeah, and he used that head with the spikey blue hair, I think. Or maybe I'm thinking of someone completely different with a Q in it.

Here is my list of legends:

Kaimetsu
Pachuka
Zorro
Konidias
Lycia
Antago
Galen
Burges
Peach
Azriel
Vangel

There are some more, but I can't place there names at the moment.

who's name did i spell wrong?
ahh, wait was it Bruges?

As to you Ibonic, either they play the game or not, not how long they have or haven't been playing doesn't determine legendary status. Well except for the person on 2k1, I think Corspe that reached I think 3000 hours, correct me if I have inaccurate information.

Anywho, people are legendary for different things, Lycia: corruptness, Kaimetsu: scripting, Antago: ass-holyness, etc, etc

BlKnight 10-05-2002 03:22 AM

"Azriel" too. It's Azreal.
